The chrome looks ok and it worked fine. The color is gold flake metallic, very pretty. It's very well crafted.
It’s much prettier than the pictures show. Feels good, not heavy, but just enough to not feel cheap.
My hubs is 76 and has played since age 14. Plays and sounds great. Will likely upgrade later. Now plays fine.
Cons
Fret not, this guitar is not worth $200. No amp, no cord, no strap. Amazon customer service is awful.

Other items with the kitthe guitar cable was cheap and thin
I also changed out the knobs just for aesthetics but the ones that came with the guitar were fine

This craftsmanship in this guitar is worth three times the cost
Amp was busted so amazon gave me a 42 credit so the guitar alone literally cost me like 140

String was broken in shipping not big deal

I must have gotten a good one the craftmanship is fine with no noticeable flaws the neck and action were good right out of the box
