You can use a weatherpack crimp tool that crimps both the connection and seal at the same time or one that crimps each separately

If you use the right tool the connector wont be bent and can be easily inserted into the shell

These are not bad for the money spent but took too many life minutes to figure out which pin male or female go to which connector and which are the correct locks

Tip there a some excellent youtube videos on assembling deutsch connectors which is helpful considering there are no included instructions
