My 22 month old is quite petite. It fits my 5 year old perfect and adjusts nicely to her head. Just make sure you adjust the inner piece for the back of the head and adjust the chin strap nicely.

It's easy to adjust and i like the knob that you can twist to adjust the tightness for the padding in the helemt. The extra padding that comes with it was super helpful because he has a sensitive scalp.

The helmet is not safe to use and only wore once for a quick tricycle ride. Because it was ordered in march they are now not returnable. No customer service in sight. Would not recommend.

The helmet is too big for my 2 year old granddaughter even with the straps and everything as tight as you can get them. The dialing piece on the back to adjust it to the correct fit is broke and is now unsafe. The straps are difficult to adjust.
