Pros

This filter works fine with my ge gss23gmkkces refrigerator. There is an rfi tag printed on the inside of the label that the frige sues to see if you have a'real ge' filter.

Cons

With these filters the fridge outputs an error rendering the filter unuseable.

Ge xwfe filters have an rfid chip in them, which ge places on the filters to keep you from buying economical filters and locking you into buying their proprietary junk for $60. Would not recommend.

Haierge slapped an rfid chip onto a xwf and turned it into a xwfe recurring income stream that has to be replaced every 6 months
