Pros & Cons
Pros
Glacier fresh produce brita maxtra compatible filter cartridges. Perfect for any compatible water filtering jug, great product at a great price. This box of water cartridge filters fits perfectly inside my water jug.
These are a cheaper alternative to the actual branded ones. The water tastes great and my tea looks good! They are a little cheaper than the brita branded ones, and last the same amount of time. The first thing i do when testing out a new brand of fil... Read More
These are significantly cheaper than branded brita cartridges, even when discounted. Currently around fifteen pounds for four these cartridges become progressively cheaper when bought in larger quantities.
I presume they work as well - difficult to quantify without a water testing kit. They work ok, but i’ve never had any problem with generics.

With the previous ones i had of this brand they really didnt pass the test at all giving a rather filthy looking mug of tea
Price
I can reccomend and the price is reasonable
I cant bring myself to buy the full price brita filters again and these work just as good
Even the price is the same when you do some price comparison online
Buy as a box of 15 though and the unit price reduces to £2
Packaging/appearance
They did have some sand and filter particles over them but they just need a soak before you put them in the jug
You need to soak the filter first then discard the first two filtered waters
Competitiveness
Our filter is a maxtra and one of these fitted perfectly
They are a little cheaper than the brita branded ones and last the same amount of time
I honestly cant find the difference in these and the normal brita maxtra cartridges
I cant see any differences at all except the cheaper price of £14
