Pros
Pvc mat protects the carpet and lays on the floor for your office chair to be placed on. Allows you to roll the chair smoothly away from the desk when needed. Has dimples on underside to avoid it slipping on carpet surfaces.
Easy to do and now protects the carpet brilliantly. Great does the job. Also, easy to vacuum or wipe.
The product seems good quality,it is a large, spiked and sturdy floor protector. Good item, seems durable. Very pleased so far.
Cons

As other reviews state it arrives very tightly rolled and to protect your carpet it is very hard plastic

It has not got rid of it entirely and after an hour of sitting some small sinking has occurred

It was very tough to unroll even using a hairdryer and the smell from using the hairdryer on it was awful had to open the window

Comes rolled up but it will straighten out flat with patience

Unfolding the protector using a hair dryer will take about 20 minutes

Did the job pretty well started cracking around 5 months but still usable a bit dissapointed since its now too cracked to be used after 10 months but didnt expect it to last forever
