Pros & Cons
Pros
This precision snip really helps me make accurate cuts while tying flies. I use it in my fly tying and find it superior to regular scissors. I have to keep buying these scissors simply because i keep losing them, and every time i come here to get a ne... Read More
Nicer quality than expected. They are very sturdy and last a long time. Recommended to me by an expert fly tier and he was spot on. Ginger is the best quality available.
Great little snips for the money. Easy to snip threads - especially with masks where there are so many thread ends. Only complaint is that the hole for a string/loop is on the lid, not the actual snips.
The standard gingher thread nippers are truly perfect for tailors and others who are happy with a tool designed to be available at all times -- dangling from your ring finger.
Very easy to use, sharp, lightweight and effective. Can string a cord through handle to wear around neck.
Cons
Same thing - sticking closed and not cutting threads. Not real gingher scissors.
Highlights
Competitiveness
I have had a pair of these gingher thread snips for many years and they worked as well as the first day that i used them
