Pros & Cons
Pros
Good quality parts and silk screening. They are very nicely made. Decent build quality and great price.
If you have skillz, this is no problem. It has some traces already for +5v and gnd and that is very helpful. Shows the simple shield i made to control the 3 lower auxiliary lights on a subaru xv.
This prototype shield is well made and easy to solder. It's a great price and if you enjoy soldering, it's great practice. On the good side (i don't consider this a problem personally), the trace is surface-treated and won't attract solder bridges.
Cons
The mega 2560 is longer and has quite a few additional pins that this board does not cover. The header extension pins are too short and too thin to make reliable contact with the connections on a genuine (not clone) arduino uno. The pins are easily be... Read More

Be sure to lay out and check pin depth for clearance as some of the holes on the very front of the shield are interfered with by the power jack on the arduino

Instead of wiring directly to the arduino

Would have been more useful if more of the holes were connected together like the rows on a breadboard

I didnt realize i was getting 3

Only 1 of these is connected to the rest of the shield

Using jumper wires was not an option and no one seems to sell arduinos with no headers installed
