Pros & Cons
Pros
Used these for thru hull fittings on a kayak. Zero water intrusion.
See my pic. Pleased with this item. No complaints. Would recommend. Only wish it was made in the u.
Varying sizes come in handy. I feel these will suffice for my situation; they are sturdy. Standard wire grippers.
Cons
The nuts jump the thread when tightening with fingers. Does not make a sturdy connection. Maybe my fingers are too strong.

If you loosen the cone nut the cable can slide through again which is to say that its not permanent

That could be good for adjustability but for most electronic purposes you want to set the wire and it should never change

I imagine this product could loosen over time particularly in a vibrating environment such as an amplifier or vehicle

Just take that into consideration

It shouldn’t be a problem but it did occur to me that theres no inherent way to lock it down implicit in its design other than torquing a plastic nut
