You have to put these on the right way on an xt1 the black sidestrip is thicker on one side

Next it is important that you not touch with your fingers the adhesive side of the protector during installation as this can cause a visible mark to remain that may not come out even with repeated rubbings of the protector

First ensure that the protector is properly aligned i do this before removing the protective layer on the sticky side fo the proctor to ensure i know how the protector should lie
