The key selling point of this product is that its an outdoor shower, natural solar heating and the temperature can be regulated. Works as promised. It's an all plastic unit. Seems well engineered and the threads all fit nicely without leakage. The whole thing can be put together by one person in about 10-15 minutes - phillips screw driver needed. One of my main questions while researching was how does this work? Please view included photo of the underside. Ordinary garden hose can be attached to the water-in connector. The water is then split and pushed up into the coils (more below) and the other half gets diverted using the short hose up the middle - that's the fresh cold water. Of course all of this works because of water pressure from the faucet.Re the coils - it gets filled with water. The plastic cover acts as a green house and accelerates the heating of the water. The hot water and cold water mixture is controlled by a knob. Filled it and left in direct hot sunlight 2-3 hrs - turned on the knob about 2/3 to full hot (comfortable warm water) and the water started to get colder after about 2m15s. Of course this time will depend on the ambient temperature. When I tried this - temp was around 82 deg.The unit surprisingly came with a hose (photo incl.). It's not needed - nor do I think it's a standard US hose - could have saved a few bucks. Also with the unit weighed down by water - it's very stable and shouldn't fall over.I'm a little bit concerned a little bit with the clear plastic cover - seems quite fragile and quite susceptible to cracking if something heavy dropped on it.All in all, well designed and works as promised.I will update at the end of summer.
