I was skeptical that these cables work correctly because when i plugged in my fitbit charge hr a battery icon did not appear on the screen

It turns out my fitbit was so discharged that i had to reset it

The process is plug in the fitbit to charge for a few minutes hold down the button for 1020 seconds until the leds flash on the wristfacing side release the button unplug then plug in again to complete charging

At first the wrong cord was sent and then their customer service quickly fixed it and sent out a replacement that worked
