I am shocked by the positive reviews of this book. Its lessons are shallow and therefor novice readers are unlikely to question them. If you're enrolled in a course on the book against your will, you have to * it up and skim your way through it.
A lot of the examples sound crude probably because they miss the details. The example just screams, i'm entitled. There are only a handful of examples in the book that are not anecdotal.
The lack of scholarly effort even when he (rarely) tries to back up his ideas with more than user testimonials strikes me as lazy at best. It is very clear that the author is extremely out of touch with reality outside of the ivy mba world he inhabits... Read More
