Im impressed with the quality for the price
This unit except for the blade is identical with the two previous units i have owned
It does seem the quality of this unit has slipped as the the blades are more difficult to open and the theplayers are a bit stiff
Solid construction and great quality just looks bigger in the photos

Im not necessarily a handyman but it certainly helps to have a multitool around
I have been using gerber multitools for about a decade and have no complaints
Owned one probly 78 years ago and loved it
I have recently been looking at the other gerber multitools to add to the collection at some point as well

Liked the tool but after some time spring on scissor broke making scissor not usable

The only thing that would make these better was for gerber to sell you the parts you need to fix them without sending them in which to me to too much of a hassle

Tough multitool only weak spot would have to be the slide mechanism beat it up a lot dont hit it with a hammer tried to use it to punch out a knock out on a floor drain

The long blade fingernailcatch is on the inside of the case instead of pointing out through the access hole cut in the case to allow the fingernail to engage the slice cut into the blade
