Pros

It keeps a good edge and is easy to sharpen. I get them all professionally sharpened to a terrifyingly sharp edge. The blade shape works well and mine came with a decent grind.

The locking function is awesome, and the blade construction is pretty flawless. Spring assist and blade lock are also convenient. One handed closing isn't difficult like many other assisted knives due to the placement of the lock.

The deep carry pocket clip is excellent since it's recessed and uses recessed screws as well. I always have one on me clipped to my pocket for a convenient draw without searching. It's always in my purse and i always travel with it.

Cons

The blade is the first knife i've received that wasn't sharp. Edge retention is terrible, not sure if the 'high-carbon' stainless claimed above is the same or not as i originally purchased this. The knife is definitely not worth the price.

The locking mechanism is a joke. It does not function smoothly at all despite lubrication. It's so stiff it doesn't even work.

The safety lock inadvertently locks so when you pull the knife out you have to fumble with it to get it open. After 4 weeks the blade is loose with significant wobble from side to side.

I put it through over 2200 miles of hiking camping opened hundreds of beers with the handle and a bunch of other random stuff

If the price stayed the same and they upgraded the steel to something like 14c28n or d2 id give it 4 stars

Keeps an edge and the fast open mechanism lasts

Packaging/appearance

To unlock and close the open blade you dont have to put your thumb or any fingers in the the path of the blade

It’s got a thin profile and i like that it is downward facing when clipped in the pocket

Competitiveness

It means nothing and it performs worse than 8cr13mov an already subpar steel

Have 3 one is 2 yrs old i use it every day at work cuting packing straps
