Pros & Cons
Pros
A littel common sence and your good go with this light! Great light for shining in various crevices in the reef. It is a softer light spread than my main light, but it did enough to push sufficient light out for a dark rainy morning dive.
Recharging the genwiss battery takes a little over 4 hours. Changed out the battery and works fine. The seal around the battery is excellent.
Light has a push on & off and works with one hand. Uses a hall sensor switch so the light is more waterproof. Another reviewer said the hole for wrist strap is too small.
Cons
Most are 1600-2000mah batteries that are not that amperage! The chargers are also worthless they ruin the battery. Do not buy the batteries on amazon, ebay etc that say they have more than 3,400 mah, it's technically impossible to produce.
It seems to turn off every time it is bumped. Went under to about 30ft.
Do not dive with this light. No light whatsoever not even a dim light. The barrel of the flashlight has a section on the end that is not anodized and interfaces with a corresponding surface on the inside of the cap.
Highlights
Quality
Great value and a seller that stands behind the product
Very good build quality overal has a rechargeable battery included with charger
Its more of a yellow light than i usually like and you dont want to take pictures with the spot beam hitting your subject
I wonder whether some of the reliability issues have been with the battery and not the light
Price
Very easy to use underwater and very well worth the price
Competitiveness
It delivers topnotch performance at a fraction of the cost of its highend counterparts
Also you can buy extra batteries for this at any vape store
Stopped working 2nd dive in 25ft of water
I previously purchased a 6 pack of longer life 18650 rechargeable battery with 9900mah capacity httpsamzn
