Pros & Cons

The AI used to provide these results are constantly improving. These results might change.

Pros

It's important to let the puck bloom for a few minutes in hot water before attempting to lather up. It foams up with little moisture so it’s not watery on your face.

The shave soap is excellent for its cost and lather. It cleans up really well from a soap scum perspective. I use a tallow-based soap normally, so it's going to be cheaper.

The smell is great but not over powering. The scent is pleasant, but kind of old-man-ish. It is almost identical to the bulldog razor's sandalwood shave cream.

Since i've ditched the expensive shaving cream cartel of gillette/barbasol/edge/etc. This is probably the best shave soap i've used. It creates a nice creamy lather that allows your razor to just glide ride over your face as if it wasn't even there.

Cons

Smells great and builds a lather quickly, but the lather is not lubricating. This soap is mainly glycerin, palm and coconut oils. If you are looking for a quality shave spend a little more money for an edwin jagger or taylor of old bond street.
