I dont know if this splashblock can be added to the end of the gutter piece it would be a very large angle for the pivoting section or if it has to attach at the downspout which makes it too short as the instructions state

The little knobs that stick out where gutter attaches is a light plastic material

To install these you might need to hacksaw your gutters if the angle is too flat

The melting snow from roof cannot drain through the pipe any more once the pipe is full of ice in it
