The pins bend and also come out easily. Once any pins are bent it's basically unusable. Pins fall out all over. Broke on the first application.

Other makes have larger plastic segments that handle abuse better but at the cost of being less accurate and not able to capture detail

When transferring the contour to a work piece the body of the device does not allow you to place the segments directly onto to your workpiece
