It shoots video in 1080p but you can cut that down if you wish

For one they do not come with eye piece covers which would have been a nice feature to include

It is very have for me to keep the binoculars still so that you could not see shaking in videos or blurriness in pictures

This might not be an issue for others and some people actually like the higher optical zoom but for me a 10x or even 8x pair would have worked better
