Pros & Cons
Pros
The gem red 82413 is a contractor model that gets packed away daily. What i like about this one over others is that it has an easily accessible battery compartment that takes one aaa battery and not a specialized flat watch battery.
Great price and quick shipping. Makes setup much quicker. The top surfaces of the two arms are etched with very fine lines marking inches in increments of 32nds.
This angle gauge is easy to operate and is very accurate. Having a simple way to calibrate and measure angles is essential. The units are of nice quality, accuracy, and repeatability.
This guage really makes squaring up blades, mitre tools, fences, etc much more exact. Then attach it to the blade and adjust your blade angle.
Cons
Still intermittently displays erro. Couldn't get past the error message after installing batteries. Incomprehensible design flaw.
A big disappointment. I wish i would have bought a different brand as this was the same price as many other similarly priced options. Get the other brand.
