Pros

This bladder is great, with one very important caveat. The pressurization lends to many additional uses for the bladder. The only downside with the geigerrig is you have to fill the bladder with air.

The bite valve is nice it also has a shut off not sure why but it is there if you need it. The squeeze bulb allows you to share water easily. I rarely need to use the bulb to pump it up for pressure when drinking, but a few pumps will definitely give ...  Read More

The osprey and camelbak are easy to clean. The nozzle is good for spraying dirt out of scrapes too.

The issue was quickly remedied with a few applications of gorilla glue. This is the second one i have had.

For those of the opinion that the pressurized engine is gimmicky, they are people that haven't completed a hill climb of a 3/4 mile. Buying an insulated hose helps a lot with this issue.

Cons

The bladder works great when valve is below the bladder level, but flow slows to trickle when raised to lip level.

The bulb inflator squeaks loudly when inflated. The air pressure side continuously bleeds down.

The hose pulls off the barbed connector first. The on/off valves for both tubes are almost impossible to get off, frequently slipping the tubing off instead. The connections between the 2 hoses and the bag get jammed.

The only downside is depending on the distance or duration of your activity you may have to pump up the unit more than once in order to maintain sufficient pressure so that the water is delivered to your mouth without having to suck

This is the reason i gave the product 4 stars instead of 5

Taking stock later i realized there was no impact at all on my spine or back above the waist though i hit hard enough to smash my phone which was in one of the bike shirt back pockets

The check valve in the bottom of the pressure bulb fell out while i was hiking rendering it useless

These systems take the issue of having to suck on the hose away which you wont even realize was ever a problem until you arent doing it anymore

Pressurization while running will cause the water to bounce up and down the inflated air bubble
