Pros & Cons

Pros

Great substitute for flavored creamers. Love it in greek yogurt.

Gefen vanilla sugar is truly a culinary experience! Less expensive (and messy) than adding vanilla syrup & it works great.

Used for danish pancake balls. Used for making mandelbread and sponge cake. Would make a great brûlée as well.

Cons

Both containers were broken and leaking sugar upon arrival. It's tough to say if it was a shipping issue or a packaging issue. The break is at a point just under the seal, in a very thin part of the side wall of the container.

This vanilla sugar uses vanillin, an artificial flavor. Artificially flavored with vanillin=not natural. The ingredient list says sugar and vanillin.
