The adhesive is sufficient to prevent blowouts during the brewing. Although it doesn't wrap over, it works perfect and doesn't separate/come apart when applied well on clean inner lip.

Cons

The adhesive is horrible. The ones that do come off and adhere to the pods only adhere for a few hours before they begin popping off. The diameter of these geesta caps is barely larger than the diameter of the pod itself.

Would love a better recommendation. New foil purchased in feb 2020 is much thinner and tears easily. This story ends with my returning the geesta foils and placing an order for the one's have been using for a year.
