The geeni wifi controlled outlet is just about as useless as all the other wifi enabled outlets on this cursed app. It can't even connect to the app. The back of the strip in missing keyholes for mounting on walls or under a desk.

When trying to reconnect the device randomly turns on and off. This is why i unplugged it, so i could maybe reset and connect to it. It no longer can be toggled on/off manually, and will not connect to wifi.

Last two ports are off all of the time. Had to abandon use of the last two ports. Programming them was a pain since the name for any switched socket is limited to 5 or 6 letters.

However, it stops working for no reason. Stopped working correctly after 2 weeks. Finally got the new one in which started over heating the first day and turning off and on.
