In cold weather the stock cable gets extremely stiff and every time the wire bounces on your clothing you will hear a boom in your earbuds

The plug is also gold plated which for some reason sennheiser decided not to include on the stock cables

The plug itself is a straight jack so when youre packing your earbuds away into the case that came with them you wont be caught struggling to get the right amount of wrapping to properly fold the jack in between the center hole so you can actually close the case
