I have never tried it with the big shampoo bottles but i have had it very full of standard size bottles
My expectations were low after looking at the photos but this is actually higher quality than it looks and the suction is incredible

Because the space in our shower is limited it was important to place them where they are out of the way

For some reason the sticker and the suction will not hold it

And suction cups will never work on any surface that is not smooth

So i did another search on amazon and found that the same company sold clear adhesive disks designed especially for this circumstance

Basically you have to make sure both suction cups are 90 degrees to the walls otherwise wont work

But this is 20 months on and through all the cleaning numerous bottles changes and the occasional grab to prevent a fall in the shower the shelf has not moved one millimeter from the original position

Do you note that i was not able to get it to suction cup to the wall but it still works hanging from the shower head arm
