Pros
The gearlux case is lightweight, stiff, sturdy, and a perfect fit for my instrument. It is almost identical to the luna brand case at half the price. I am ocd about things lining up and stitching done well.
Bought this for a cordoba mini-o. Once in phx, the gearlux case came a day early. The body will fit snug, so movement at the headstock would not be an issues, i have a slotted headstock.
It zips open and closed but has a velcro tab to secure it for quick closure even when unzipped. Good internal padding and storage inside and out. Detachable shoulder strap is a nice touch.
The form-fitting insert is perfect. This one fits it perfect.
Cons
Tenor ukulele flops around inside the case. Outer zipper opens upside down. No strap to secure the neck.

The shipping tape was barely hanging on by a strip very grateful it didnt fall out of the shipping box
However shipping box was all but destroyed upon arrival

Outside cardboard packaging totally smashed on one end

The only real difference with the one i received is that mine does not have the rubber things at the bottom that you can see in the product picture

One nice feature is there’s a flap on the front side so that if you pull the two zippers that close it up around to the front the flap folds over them and is held there by velcro making accidental or mischievous unzipping less likely
