Pros

This wire seems well shielded and it peels apart and strips easily. Had to run wires for my rear surround speakers, these have a good flex and stripping the wire was easy.

It's cca and aluminum doesn't conduct as well as copper, hence you need to get thicker cca to make up the difference. Works great for my high powered 5. Dolby system. Bought a spool for some outdoor speakers.

Cons

Would not recommend and will need to replace/repurchase. Not flexible at all, and it’s difficult to get it to ‘relax’.

Nothing on the packaging, spool, or stamped or on the insulation indicates it is waterproof or indicates an outdoor rating. No hint what the insulation is made of. The only markings are 14awg speaker wire.

It is as if 100 ft of wire was rolled onto the spool and another 100 ft was added to it. There was only about 75 ft on the roll and didn't have enough to finish the job.
