Used it for a week in cuba and the salty water and sand did not seem to affect it but the phone can get pretty hod when you let the black screen face the sun for longer time

The transparent front cover works perfectly with the touchscreen however if you use fingerprint unlock be prepared to type in the password every time or to enable voice smart lock the fingerprint can not be scanned through the plastics at least not on my xperia where the scanner is located on the side and is also difficult to access while the phone is in the armband

My only hesitation is that it appears rather large on my arm however this is because the iphone 6 plus is a huge phone
