Pros
The product is just the right thickness. It is thinner than shoe goo, and it appears to be holding better so far. Yes you need to clamp any shoe glue repair.
Instructions say to store the unused product in the freezer - smart idea. Then i let the shoes set for 48 more hours before stressing by wearing and it's been wearing great. No more wet socks.
Cons
Like most glues, it hardens after the first use & it is impossible to get any more product out of it. Don't suffer the aggravation of using this messy product in a fruitless attempt to save them.
