Pros

This filter is hooked up directly to our washer. We plan to have a water softener installed in az. It saves you the hassle and mess of cutting into galvanized pipes. And take a photo for reference at lowes.

It has granular activated carbon media added to absorb and capture contaminants down to the 5 micron size. If you just have sediment issues then the basic filter is all that is needed.

Ge gxwh70mb is a smart whole house water filter. It works with an app to monitor water usage, leak monitoring, and more. The app is great for monitoring water usage and alerting you to possible leaks. Whitediy is the company that makes the filter.

Interesting on instruction list it has contents include with product

Price

Competitiveness

Ive bought two of these filter systems and joined the together using a 2inch pvc 34 npt pipe

Over all it’s exactly what i wanted at a fraction of the cost for a already built system

I followed the build in a review of the dupont competitors on amazon

But if you have 1 inch youll need to add a 1inch to 34 inch reducer
