Pros
The contact alarm is super easy to install. Just attach the main piece to the door and the smaller side to the jamb. The adhesive is strong enough to stay glued on the surface.
Alarm is loud enough to be a good deterrent. It is shockingly loud, but that’s what i wanted! They know if makes noise so mommy will wake up too.
This product, so far, looks promising. Great for anyone on a budget, especially those renting. This is great if you have kids or caring for the elderly.
Cons
Simple and easy to install, however the adhesive tape provided is not effective. This ad is very deceiving. Tape is not adhesive enough.
This product is advertised on amazon as having a 120 decibel alarm. When it arrived the box clearly states that it is 100 decibels. Most areas mandate these device not have a separate on/off switch to deliberately deactivate the alarm. This is insanel... Read More
The battery cover comes right off easily and fits loosely. There are 3-4 mini round batteries that scatter across the floor when it drops. The batteries die quick and the chime begins to sound like a ticking bomb.
