The concept is excellent but the execution is a bit disappointing

The design places one of the mounting holes on the battery hatch

So when you attempt to press up on the lamp to slide it over the mounting screw heads the battery hatch releases and the lamp plus the 56 aa batteries falls away causing the batteries to roll all over the counter or floor

Sometimes a touch illuminates the lamp other times it doesnt

Its a good concept battery life is not yet known as we turn the lamps off when done even though they are supposed to selfturn off anyway

When turned on by motion it lights up for a long time before turning off
