Pros

It works accurately for candy making for caramels, english toffee etc. Comes up to temperature quickly and accurately. Instant temp reading.

Husband uses for grilling meats to check that he doesn’t cook my steak too much. Medium to medium rare beef is tender, juicy and full of flavor. No more guessing if meat is cooked.

Cons

Very bad product. Not worth the price. Absolute trash. Will have to order another brand" "very disappointed.

It no longer gives accurate reading and the readout is in constant change. The claim of the thermometer as waterproof is so clearly inaccurate that i'm not quite sure how this is getting by other reviewers.

Worked good for first 10 months then started getting lll readings. Broke after just a month. Lasted just over a year. Stopped working after three months of light use.
