But for the price you cant beat it
This device is in my opinion worth the extra cost
Granted the price is pretty high compared to the others you see but there is one major difference
Packaging/appearance
But arent removing the endcap of the wand before measuring
Competitiveness
They simply cannot measure that high in an acurate way
I am only a amateur scientist and wanted to measure various sources around the houseoutdoor environment

Most of the cheaper handheld devices cant even go near that high

And anything above the 1000 msv is too much for any geiger tube because of saturation so if you are looking for something to measure say fallout from a nuclear detonation geiger counters in general are not the answer not at first at least
