First its worth saying that this laminator is pretty big

All you get 4 or 5 cards which can be used to clean the laminator periodically

This is ok for door and noticeboard notices but not very good when we want to seal things like photographs or hand held cards

The 3 page manual warns of catching your hair or jewellery in the heavy duty rollers and says the unit is maintenance free although a pack of 5 x a4 roller cleaner sheets are provided

The manual does suggest adjusting the thicknesstemperature slider to get better results if necessary apparently this slider controls the speed the pouch goes through the heated rollers rather than the roller temperature itself

Theres an onoff switch to the left side and the two leds on the right on red and ready green
