The one caveat is that the screen is blue when there is no video signal

So if you use it as a backup camera and dont wire the power to the reverse tail light it was be bright blue when you are driving

The monitor is small and flat and has 1 video output

Turns on automatically with the camera but there is also an onoff switch on the body so that you could switch the monitor off manually
