The clamp looks like it would work on several tubing sizes easily. Easy access to a beverage while on stage or practicing. If you need a holder for larger drink containers that aren't tall, this is the one.

I have no fear of these failing to hold a drink unless it is in a tall slender cup since the retainer is only about 3 from base to the top

I usually have a bit of whiskey on stage and if i have a beer at a gig its on a pint glass neither of which fit in my insulated on stage holder which is only good for cans or bottles

This would not work with something horizontal like bicycle handlebars or the boom part of a mic stand

I have a taller contigo water container and while it holds it in place fine it tended to wobble around inside the arms
