My laptop as an example has a faulty audio jack that makes it conflict with both the inbuilt microphone and has the two sound channels conflicteven when set to mono

As for battery life its decent enough when you actively power limit it lower brightness and dont plug too many things in but you arent going to get all day out of it

Ive disabled most things on the system including much that most wouldnt and i find myself at 4gb used a full half of it with just this browser open

Also it kept freezing up slowing down to where i could not even be able to surf the web or fix my documents online
