Real selling point of the overlander is the capability to route and navigate overland using topo maps. Great on road nav features. Great off-road features.

Cons

The device has an android app for communicating with this device, so it's obvious they intentionally chose not to support older devices to try and force people to purchase new ones. The screen is very shiny and reflective, which makes it hard to see i... Read More

It's not a great navigation device, however, and i think many miss that. The street gps folks are clueless about off-road navigation. I can't see those maps in the explore app. It does basic gps of course, but my google maps is better.
