It does show the name of current road which is very good because not all garmin gps do that

It would be better to show the distance left to the target on the screen not just only showing the arrival time

When there is no cell signal and google map fails you can rely on garmin to find your way home or find an alternate route

Its instruction to turn leftright at the traffic light is great but if i miss the turn for any reason it gives no feedback and just plots another route to the final destination

Keep in mind though it does not update as quickly or as accurately as your smartphone

I havent really seen this mentioned anywhere but this unit does dim and change its color theme after sunset for safer driving at night
