Pros

I wear this as my daily watch and have since i purchased it over a year ago, and it shows no sign of degrading. I’m in air force rotc at my college and it’s super durable, both the screen and watch itself.

It has many other features which i found logically laid out and pretty easy to use. Smart notifications are very handy. Granted, they're tiny improvements, but observable improvements nevertheless.

I love how this syncs data to nike+run club so i can use it for my marathon training. It also syncs to yes. I use the running setting and it tracks just fine though! Gives me the option of tracking runs without carrying my phone.



Cons

In addition to the gps functions it also syncs to my iphone and my older heartrate monitor


I also love the different display options you can download for free from garmins app store


Prefer a pebble for smartwatch features but you cant beat the forerunner 230 in running

    Cons bluetooth connection is spotty

    Now after 15 months of use the bluetooth is completely not showing up on any device

    Also ive been running in the single digits this winter and the phone does eventually turn off because it cant handle the cold
