Given how much i have used the forerunner i could justify the upgrade. The 6x pro supports gestures during a run/walk meaning when you lift your arm to look at the watch the light automatically switches on for 8 seconds.

Battery life is incredible. You can tailor your battery mode to requirements. It's a bliss not having to charge it every single night! Used 24 hours. After a month very satisfied.

Maps are superb, so much better than breadcrumb of the 735. Connect app is well polished and easy to navigate. I like how it can give you ordnance survey positions for hikes. Keeps things fun on my long hours of marathon training.

Impressive is definitely an understatement. For that alone it's worth the upgrade. No downsides for me.

Garmin are not interested and been very dismissive, which i will escalate. Down for service according to garmin. Hacked by ransomeware.

The most important functionality of a sport watch is so buggy - i can't belive they released them with this bug. The watch is neither easy for navigation, not quick to use, neither small, not lightweight and fast.

Heart rate sensor is also inaccurate (i know, it's a watch, not a chest strap) if you go anywhere near any trees or hedges and the pace drops by about 2 mins/mile making pacing virtually impossible.
