Make sure you have the tools to run a cable thru the hollow walls

Since it mounts on the transom where it may not get a good signal when on plane it requires that you buy a traditional in hull or through hull traditional transducer mounted to get a traditional sonar signal when on plane

I think the ultra would be better use for the gt56 transducer
