Installation with the garmin app and two choice of cable wiring. At that point, your phone usually connects to your home or work wifi automatically.
Taking out the card to a computer is much less infuriating then using the garmin drive app. Using it is a no brainer. But it works.
Small compact device about the size of a car key fob. The camera is simple, compact & i like the voice control to save a picture or video. Good quality dashcam without all the bells and whistles.
This garmin dash cam is something trustworthy, unlike those cheaply made in cxxna. It has excellent voice control, and its small size makes it less visible to potential thieves. It cuts out a lot of glare, but it’s my second garmin mint 2 purchase.

For the money this is a solid product

Set up and install was very quick
I missed delivery attempt and had to drive across town to get it
But third party company sent it by purolator with signature required
Competitiveness
Much better than the noname cheap alternatives video quality is excellent and the app is easy to use
Picture quality is great but better if you purchase the garmin polarizing filter
If garmin releases a 1440p or 4k version in that size i’m definitely replacing it

There is no wifi connection while driving even in your laneway a home wifi connection is horrible

I downloaded the app created my id stuck the device on the windshield plugged it in the device synced with the app and did an update

You want a video clip from 10 minutes ago its right there on the microsd in a nice small size to copy move delete or share
