Pros
The glue extends beyond the tube thereby ensuring a watertight seal. It has the stuff in the crimp to make it watertight. Used splice inside service entry to extend length of wires from stove breaker, and permit moving breaker location in panel.
Cons
Does not fit 2awg as advertised on package. Cannot be used with 2ga wire as advertised. I am very mechanically inclined and found that i could not get it to shrink properly. Returned for refund.

Doing this will ensure you get any air bubbles out and the adhesive works its way out to the ends and make sure a very good seal
