The book is lovely and full of useful information and guidelines that most people probably wouldn't consider. If you're a novice the book isn't too overwhelming. In all i adore this book, it is my favorite.
The book concludes with a glossary of terms, a bibliography and an index. This book is extremely practical and fun to read. It gives tons of information and is very well written.

There arent many pictures in the book but it does contain some decorative illustrations and charts

The book includes an entire chapter written about the art of florigraphy the meaning of flowers and flower lore

Many of her suggestions such as dying easter eggs with red cabbage leaves can be found elsewhere but dugan is a practical witch and suggests it is not unwitchlike to buy easter egg dye
