The tap has not discoloured in any way and the rubber hose has not perished or discoloured

The main tap started disconnecting from the base of the tap when being turned whilst the water was flowing

I sadly thought this must be down to wear and tear and was contemplating buying a samemake tap to replace it with but thought id reach out to the manufacturers first to see if their warranty covered two years

They replied within 24 hours and asked for a video of the problem

Not wanted to make a video of the kitchen being power sprayed from a tap base i opted to send a photo of the detachment problem

Again they replied within 24 hours sending a photo and a video of a screw that likely needed to be tightened with an allen key
