You should not expect to use it to verify the string tension measured in lbkg on that newly restringed racquet you got back from the pro shop

When i tried it on the six racquets on hand four stringed by a pro shop two stringed by myself using a gamma xels the numbers were not far from the tension requested at the time of restringing and the order from the lowest to the highest matched exactly the order of the requests
